Equitor.

I began my career with Equitor Consutling - a brand consulting firm, it was a break away from Sabre which was part of Maa Bozell. A leading ad agency those days figuring among the top 10 in India (and yes mostly at tenth place).

Equitor happened thanks to my class mate - Vivek Rao, Vivek and I were good friends during our MBA days.

Equitor was a bunch of hep folks trying hard to sustain by leveraging their own individual brand image and self-perception. It was a great starting point, a swanky office, bunch of hep colleagues. I got to learn lot of basics from them. It did not last long - in matter of few days- it was time to move on.

Retro look: Nice people to work with and am proud of the association. Though lot of water has passed under the bridge since then - contacts exists in an occasional running into some of the old folks in airports.
