Money...Honey

Money is not everything............it is almost everything.....

For the inital part of my career - money was always short - there was not enough to think about investment - in hindsight - I guess that was a mistake.......I should have become "money-wise" and investment savvy long back.........

Better late than never...........It was during Bluestar days that I invested in Real estate (self occupied apartment) and the focus was then to close the loan and not look at any other investment....WRONG move......That was the time when real estate was very affordable (from todays income point of view) or at-least doable but I opted to stay out and foucs only on closing the loan.

Nevertheless, sense prevailed and I started investing big time into the stock market in forms of Mutual funds while in Aventail, Managed to build a decent portfolio of MF, and then the ultimate blessing happened. I read the book - "Rich dad and Poor Dad". By and large this book has had the maximum effect on me to date.
